Theres more to nails than you think
You are going to learn so much on your nail course with us, that I know it can be a lot to take in and remember, so this is your 24/7 resource for your nail course. All information will be on this page for you to refer back to as and when you want to.
Before your course - Here's what you need to know
I know you’ll be really excited about your course, I remember being that excited myself even waiting to attend my 17th nail course (yes ive attended dozens of courses over the years!)
So I want to tell you a few things, that you’ll have seen in your email confirmations but its definitely worth making sure you have the info you need.
You are on a professional course, we take your education seriously and as such we uphold the industry standards that are expected. You have chosen this academy and I’m so happy you have, because my team of Educators and I work very hard to make sure our standards of education are and remain high at all times.
– Arrive just 15minutes early so we can settle you in and take a breath
– Wear something smart, flat shoes and tie your hair back (or have a hair tie with you) If you already have a salon uniform please wear this.
– You will be given a written manual to take home, feel free to write on this manual if you want to make notes or bring a pen and note pad with you. When you re-read a section you want to pay more attention to, sometimes it makes more sense in your own words.
– You will be working on yourself whilst COVID-19 is so prevalent, so please make sure you have naked nails ready for your first class.
– We notice a huge difference in students who have ordered a kit to practice at home in between classes… If you have a Mystic Nails Pro kit included or have ordered one for your course, it will be waiting for you on the first day of your course. You can order a kit at anytime during your course, so ask your educator and get it ordered asap so you can start practicing.
– There will be a theory and a practical assessment at the end of the course, you will find details in these resources, so check out what is expected for you to attain a competent completion.
